Great mimicry

Though much discussion is there about menopause, my experience was rare and unthinkable, which is why I needed to mention it, to enlighten women- and equally men about it. My hot flashes accommodated repeated daily seizures and literal gasping, stupor and excruciating pain, and is still ongoing for thirteen years-though now markedly improved at all fronts.I was a healthy, nimble pediatrician, of thin figure, who was turned bed-ridden, and acutely morbidly obese. In the "camouflage" phase of my menopause my symptoms mimicked every thinkable disease entity. So women, if your weird symptoms are inexplicable, remember menopause.
