The Peace Within

One can be in the midst of great turmoil,

yet Peace serenely dwells within.

One can be under siege from their surroundings,

yet Peace actively dwells within.

One can be unsure of which way to turn,

yet be guided through the proper path by the Peace within.

One can feel overwhelmed from time to time,

yet the Peace within spurs countless courage to continue on.

One can feel all alone at one moment,

yet the Peace within fills you fully with the Spirit of Comfort.

One can feel pressed down by life’s events,

yet the Peace within lifts you above the unpleasant pressures.

One can, one can, and one can;

yet the Peace within soothes, silences, and solves it.
