Newest in my Christmas Series

SnowMan10916224872?profile=original

I am way beyond excited!
My newest book, SnowMan, has been published!
The third volume in my Christmas series.
The sweetest story of all:

Driving a busload of happy, young scouters on rain-slick roads John Benjamin Frosst is faced suddenly with the unimaginable. In a fraction of a moment, he makes a decision, selflessly offering his life in exchange for the lives of innocents.
Now confronted with the knowledge that the comfortable existence he had expected is in tatters, Ben realizes that, instead of doing the serving he loves, he must now humbly receive it from others.
Hampered by this new reality, the fine man that is still Ben Frosst discovers the term ‘handicapped’ is only a starting point from which to find new ways to give and to help.
That service comes in many forms.
And, with enough love and support, anything is possible.
Diane Stringam Tolley’s newest Christmas novel is a charming, heart-warming story of sacrifice, love and the strength of family and community.

Sometimes, life simply doesn’t turn out the way you plan. And that’s just fine.

You can order SnowMan now.

How To Create A Canine Good Citizen

Doing so will leave one sadly disappointed by the results they receive. In this article you are going to learn the proper way to treat your dog during the training process.

When crate training an indoor dog or puppy, you may try some tricks. If the dog doesn't want to get in the crate try putting a chew toy in it and close the gate when they're not there. After your dog goes into the crate, give positive reinforcement to increase the chance that he will go into the crate again.

Teach your puppy his name when you first start training him, as this creates a bond between the two of you. Use his name on a regular basis, and teach him that the appropriate response to hearing is name is to come over to you. His name should be the first word he learns. Try to spend a good amount of time with your new dog. More advanced training will be much easier later if your dog trusts and loves you.

Stay very consistent and persistent when starting your crate training regimen. As soon as you let your dog out of the crate, take him to his potty location. As time passes, your puppy will start to be able to use the restroom at the appropriate times.

Using a different tone of voice for different purposes is a great teaching tool for training your dog. Use a clearly defined tone for different commands, encouragement or directives. This makes it easier for the dog to link your expectations with different behaviors. Commands must be sharp and firm, corrections should be loud and praise should be given in a natural tone.

You need to bring bowls, his leash and bathroom supplies to ensure you can travel comfortably. There is no need to bring along the bag of dog food; you can buy some when you reach your destination.
